REVIEWS:
"11 solo recordings from Keijo. There are some of the wonderfully cyclical folk-blues jams that remind me his work with the Free Players, a cover of a Woody Guthrie song and some lovely acoustic folk songs, dosed with Keijo's hypnotic psych guitar charming its way through the strumming." Boa Melody Bar
"When he's not ridin' his motorcycle out on the Finnish country roads, he's in his home recording day and night (it seems - considering the artist's huge output). After a slew of sub par releases in the last few months, Keijo seems to be getting back on track with his most recent albums and Hetki is no exception. The album is worth getting for the opening Cold Cry alone, a hypnotizing acoustic number which sounds like a cross between MV & EE's druggy folk and Brast Burn's fucked up acoustic madness. Not only that, but you also get both a few lines of song and his unique throat singing. On Ilta, the veteran player even lets us hear him singing in his native language which is a very rare thing indeed. The rest of the album wanders from late night psychedelic jams to primitive tribal music with the odd touch of minimal blues. Not every track is a gem though, the quality often varies, but there's so much to enjoy on Hetki that fans shouldn't miss out on." Mathieu Duval, My Record Collection
